Four Mondays Of : Getting Back Into It (Yarn)

One of the goals that I had for myself in 2016 was to start a project that would take me an entire year to complete. The Temperature Blanket. I came across this project on my Facebook and thought that it was such a unique idea that I had to try it. And I am so happy that I am not the only one in my circle of friends and family that is trying it out. I have a friend who is starting this project on the day her baby girl was born and is going to record the temperatures of her daughter's first year, how cool is that? I also have an Auntie who is just about to start the project and she will be making hers a little different, using another pattern she found on Attic 24. I am so excited to see her results. Already, camaraderie! Love it.
I picked out my colours and realized that I was one colour short then the suggested chart I saw on FB,  which was okay, and I used colours that appealed to me. Having less colours, I adjusted so that I would be changing my colour based every 8 degrees instead of 10. I am already loving how this blanket looks. The bright green was New Years Day which was a +1! Woo. Then it got colder from there.
I really hope you enjoyed. I will be sharing updates on this project as the year goes! Let me know if you decide to make the blanket, I would love to see pictures of the colours or pattern you chose. xo

  1. Oh! I love that Yellow!! Wow! I can only find a pale yellow here but it's going to work out just fine. Might need to make a run to Micheal's to get a yellow for another project I'm working on.

And your blues! Very beautiful choices on all of those colours. I can't wait to see the progress pictures!
