Pumpkin Pie Pancakes :: Undertaking Creativity

For the month of October, I gave myself the challenge of doing something fun with pumpkin. Twas the season after all. For a while I wasn't sure what to do: should I carve a pumpkin, paint it with chalkboard paint ...? I was forever scanning Pinterest for inspiration, and then I found this recipe. Yes, don't mind if I do make some Pumpkin Pie Pancakes. I followed the recipe exactly, and oh my goodness, they were lovely!
If you are a fan of breakfast and pumpkin I recommend giving this recipe a try. My toddler loved them, my father, who is a pancake expert, went back for seconds, and my mom told me over and over how tasty they were. WINNERS!

November: NaNoWriMo

I am doing something a little different for the month of November. For those of you who do not know, November is National Writing Month, and from November 1 - 30th participants aim to write 50, 000 words! I wasn't planning on participating again this year, however, a friend of mine really encouraged me and got me excited about the challenge, so I changed my mind. I am very excited about doing it again this year and I hope to be able to come out of this a winner. (Last year I was short by 3, 000 words) I know this is a little different than doing a craft, but I feel that writing is still part of being creative, and I am excited to see how far I go with this. If you are writing or would like to learn more about NaNoWriMo their about page is here and if you would like to add me as a writing buddy, I would absolutely love that!
