DIY Green Tea and Peppermint Oil Bath Salts

I cannot believe that it is Friday already. Where did Thursday go? Okay seriously, where did Tuesday go? I can't recall what woke me up to reality today, but I have been scrambling all day, trying to get things done. Scramble, scramble, scramble. Mail, mail, mail. Clean, clean, clean. Type, type, type.

Since November started, I have been spending a lot more time putting together my book. It is awesome, don't get me wrong, I absolutely love how much it is coming together in such a short amount of time. The only downfall, is that I don't have a whole lot of time for everything else that I need to do, which is how I came to scrambling, and running, and frantically listening to anything upbeat that will help me to "just keep swimming, swimming, swimming, swimming." Did I mention that I ran out of coffee?

I am the worst for putting too much on my plate at one time. As a stay at home mom, blogger, author, crafter, photographer, Gift Shop Facebook Page Manager (I just came up with that title just now!), and sometimes baby sitter (I might have missed a few roles), I have to set deadlines, and goals, and to-do lists. Otherwise nothing would get done. Throw in a goal of writing 1667 words a day, boy, that was a kick in the pants.

Regardless of all that, I love what I do. I love it all. I wouldn't work so hard if I didn't. I enjoy the amount of time I get with my daughter, playing and crafting with her. I love taking photographs for the blog, I love writing my book, heck, I even enjoy washing my dishes. All I wish would change was that the sun wouldn't set so darn early, and I could get more done during the day! With that being said, I thought today would be the perfect day for me to share with you all one of my bath salt creations that I have been enjoying lately. The idea of a bath just screams out relaxation to me. And I need some of that right now.
Green Tea & Peppermint Oil Bath Salts

1 Cup of Epsom Salts
1 Teabag of Green Tea
2-3 Drops of Young Living Peppermint Oil
2-3 Drops of Cocount Oil - or a small scoop of it, if it is not in liquid form.

In a bowl add your epsom salts. Cut the green tea teabag and pour the loose leaf in with the epson salts. Stir. Add the oils and mixed well. Place it in a container (make sure its glass) with a lid and let it sit covered for 45 minutes so that the oils can soak through the entire mixture.

Scoop 1/2 of it into your bath at a time, unless you want an extra pamper session, then use all of it. Enjoy and relax.
