Pumpkin Contest

Happy October, Everybody!

Last year I had the privilege of hosting a lovely pumpkin carving contest on my blog. I would love nothing more than to do that again! If you are willing...

To quote my words last year: "I love pumpkins. I love eating them, decorating with them, and carving them. I am always amazed at how creative people can be when using pumpkins to decorate as well as how my stomach is always growling when I smell them in something delicious."

This is the contest: I would love to see (take a picture of) your pumpkin creations. It could be a jack-o-lantern, pumpkin spice muffins, a centre piece with pumpkins as a them (etc). Anything at all - it just has to be pumpkin related. Either post a picture to the Knotted Home Facebook Page or email it to me at

At the end of the contest, I will gather up those whose creation I absolutely love and post them on this blog on Halloween (October 31st) for all to see. The winner, whose photo I will also share on my Halloween post as the GRAND WINNER, will be sent a little homemade gift from me. Be sure to share this contest with friends & family because the more entries I get in, the more pictures I will share on my Halloween post. The sky is the limit and additional entries are always welcome! Pictures of faces are not necessary for this contest (I respect your privacy or your children's privacy) HOWEVER, the creations NEED to be created BY YOU OR YOUR CHILDREN.

Deadline is MIDNIGHT on October 30th. Entries sent in after the deadline will not be included. I am trying to push it closer to the 31st as most families do not carve pumpkins until the day of Halloween. I still need time to go through all the entries, but I hope that the 30th will be close enough so that everyone can enter.

Before I share some of the lovely pumpkin things I have been loving and finding on Pinterest, I would like to share the photo of last years winner!

Now without further ado, I would love nothing more than sharing some of the things that I have been loving lately. Good luck to all, and more importantly, I hope this contest brings a smile and keeps you festive. xo
