Four Mondays Of : D R I N K S : T H I E V E S . T E A

This morning I woke up early so that I could get my little family up and ready to go vote in the Canadian Elections. I had plans to get a coffee post ready for today, but everything changed when my not-so-great friend came along: the sore throat! I don't want to get sick, I don't have time to get sick. I decided instead to do some research on a drink that I could make that would help benefit me as well as hopefully cure my sore throat - at least for today.
When looking at the Young Living oils, I remembered that a while back a friend of mine told me how she uses thieves oil in her tea whenever she feels a cold coming along. Perfect. I couldn't remember her exact recipe, but I looked online and found so many different recipes.

This is what I decided to do.

1 drop of Thieves Essential Oil
3 drops of Lemon Essential Oil (you can use Lemon Juice instead)
Hot Water

Mix the oils and the honey together in a glass mug. Add hot water and stir until honey dissolves. Sip and enjoy!
I love the way that it tastes - not too strong, and my throat seemed to really like it. Okay, I can get on board with this! *

I am really enjoying experimenting with Young Living Essential Oils. It is my hope to get a Young Living page up here on my blog soon so that all of the information I am learning about, and blogging about, is in an easy and accessible way for readers to see. Hopefully that will be up soon, so make sure you stay tuned. Thieves is my favourite oil so far.
I am going to spend my day with slipper socks on, drinking tea, staying warm, and taking it easy. I don't want to be sick, so if some episodes of My Little Pony will help with that process, the tv may need to be turned on. Oh, and I might knit, because, like I mentioned before, I really cannot afford to get sick. So much to do, so little time.
