September Favourites

September is done. Finished. Kaput. For this year anyways. It has been such a laid-back month for my little family. Reason being, my husband is back at university for another intense year of learning. Knowing that it was going to be a bit of an adjustment getting back into the school brain, I made the mental note to take it easy. Whatever that meant. Some time it was meant letting things go of things that were stressful or added to my anxiety. Some times it meant adding new things into my life that were really good for my heart; walking was what I did every single day to help get a refresher. That was basically September for me.

October feels so exciting to me. We are (kind of) into a new school/work/life routine, the weather is still cooperating (the air is cold but the scene is pretty), and Thanksgiving is around the corner! Basically, I just feel happy. This is just going to be a good month.

I am trying to fill my life with all things that make me happy. Embracing Be Emily to the utmost fullest. I want my blog to show what it means to be Emily, so I hope to write some posts that indeed make me happy. I have been getting into books lately so I would love to write some reviews, I would love to do some more DIY's & find some nerdy Recipes, and I would love to take more walks to try and capture our beautiful world. I have started the new Four Mondays Of theme ... which is coffee. Which is awesome. I hope to have some new Makers to show off to you, dear readers and I will continue with the Happiness Project & Undertaking Creativity. The most important thing that I want to focus on this month is being intentional. Intentional with my photographs and with my blog posts - I want to plan out and make my blog something that is fun and lovely to read. I want to be intentional with my life - focus on the projects I am doing and not get overwhelmed or create because I feel pressured to. I am letting go of the anxious and stressful bits of my day that hold me back. I wan to create. I want this place to be someplace for you, dear readers, to go to be inspired. Someplace where I can be inspired in the process of making it all happen. I want to be silly. I want to be free. I want to be Emily.

Before we go off and start jumping into the world of wonder & silliness, I would love nothing more than to take a look back into September. It was a very fun month and these posts that I am showing you were your favourites to read. I hope you enjoyed them truly.
A Day At The Zoo

Thank you so much for reading. If ever there is a project that you would like me to try or something that you would like me to write about, I would love for you to leave a comment down below. Let's be creativity and start living the life that we WANT to live. xo
