July Favourites

Who is ready for August? Believe it or not, it is here.  The summer is almost over (don't hate me!), the leaves will soon be turning colours, and I am getting closer to my beloved fall. Anyone else out there who loves the fall season?

July started out so well for Bug and I. We went out to the country for ten days to hang out with my folks while my husband hiked the West Coast Trail. I did a lot of DIY's at my parents including the DIY book card holder and wreath making. I even found some new things to add to my glass bottle necklaces. We had so much time to just sit and be, and run and play. Such a nice little vacation and I found so much inspiration from my parents that the wheels have been turning every since.

Health wise, I am pleased to say that I am feeling more like myself every day. It has been a month since I was diagnosed with a thyroid condition and the pills are finally kicking me in the butt, in a good way. I have started having energy to work out as well as keeping up with Bug who loves spending time outside. I have missed taking her out for walks and park dates, so I am happy that I now have the energy for both. Hooray.

We have a couple of things planned for the month of August including some time spent out on the family farm! Bug and I are really looking forward to that as we are country girls at heart. I have a pile of books that I want to read (I will be writing a post about that) as well as a pile of knitting that is calling to me. I even have some Christmas projects that I need to start working on - too soon to mention Christmas? Sorry but not sorry. I have been in a Christmas frame of mind since June!

I don't want to give too much of what August will look like on Knotted Home, so instead, lets take a look back and see what your top ten favourite posts of July were. I hope you enjoy and many thanks for taking the time to read! xo
