Crocheted Baby Body Washcloths

In my opinion, there is nothing better than making homemade gifts in honour of a new baby born. When my friend had her little girl, I knew what one of my projects would be for her. I researched a lot of different patterns for baby washcloths, and I kept hearing how using the double crochet stitch created the softest pattern. Now, I don't know if that is true or not, I need to do more experimenting with others, but I was very pleased with how these washcloths turned out. Between the stitch and the yarn I used, this cloth was so soft that I want to make one for Bug as well as for myself.
The pattern that I used was very easy, but so nice for the littles. I am hooked. haha. And I want to make one in every colour of the rainbow. The yarn I used is Berroco Modern Cotton.
Chain 32.
Row 1 - Double crochet into 2nd stitch for hook and continue double crocheting down the row. (there will be 30 double crochets in total)
Row 2 - Turn and chain 2. Double crochet the entire row. (30)Continue row 2 until your washcloth reaches a desired length, I had 16 rows in total. Finish off.
Find some twine and tie it all together. Perfect.
