Acrylic Play :: Undertaking Creativity

A long time ago, I took on the monthly challenge I set for myself of playing with paints. It has been so long since I took the time to actually sit and let my imagination go with acrylic - and it was wonderful. I took my time with this process and it is now the end of June. Wow. Sometimes time limits need to be loose to make way for creativity. That is what I did, I loosened my "trying-to-control-everything hold" and I painted as inspiration came, when I wanted, no time limit.

I made a lot of different paintings, but these two are my favourites, so I worked on them harder than I did the others. I tried to take a lot of pictures of my process, but there are definitely pieces that fell through the cracks. In the end I used: acrylic, watercolour, ink, pen, watercolour pencils, and books.
July: Try Something New

I have been so inspired lately by so many different ideas and art forms that I have been seeing online. Especially since we have entered into Summer, I do not want to focus on one thing or try and force myself to only do one thing. All I know is that I want to create. I have pulled a couple of photographs that I have found on Pinterest that make me so happy. Who knows, maybe one of these will be the project that I did my toes into this month.
