Easy Garden Salad with Sliced Pork

A couple days ago I was craving a huge salad, something fresh, and light, but hardy. Having already defrosted my pork chops, I decided to be adventurous and include them in my salad. I don't know if having pork chops in a salad is a "thing" or not, but hey, a girl can't ignore her cravings, can she? It was good, by the way. Real good.

All you need are a lot of veggies and other lovely toppings for your salad. I included: lettuce, cucumber, shallots, carrots, celery, sunflower seeds, almonds, & dressing. Chop up all the veggies and form a pile on a plate.
If you are vegetarian or really weirded out by the fact that I put pork chops in a salad, you can stop at this point and you will already have a pretty amazing salad! Just add dressing and yum!

Or you may continue on: fry up your pork chops (I used two) and cut them into slices when they have been cooked through. Place on top of your salad.
Drizzle salad dressing all over this mountain of veggie goodness. Husband used Ranch & I picked Balsamic & Vinegar. So easy.
I hope you enjoyed this easy recipe. Have you ever used pork chops in a salad before? xoxo
