Self Portrait / 09 - Dignify

I am doing things a little backwards today. Normally my Self Portrait project is posted on a Friday, however this week I am a little behind in my Happiness Project. Luckily I have all night to finish editing it and it will be up for you tomorrow. So for today, here is my sickie face!
"a portrait of myself, one a week, every week, in 2015"

I lost my voice this week and now, as it is struggling to come back, my vocals range from a squeaky mouse to a deep bass.

I also wanted to highlight this amazing company. I received the blanket above as a Christmas present and it is so beautiful - easily one of my favourites. Its soft, it has beautiful stitches and it supports an amazing story. Dignify helps women in Bangladesh who are in horrible circumstances and they give them the opportunity to become entrepreneurs. On each blanket is the name of the woman who crafted it - this is something that I love. I can email the company and say thanks to her and tell her how much I love it. I love that personal connection.

I have just been thinking a lot about our world and how most of the time it seems so dark and so depressing with all that has been going on.  I love that, even though this seems like a small gesture, I am able to make someone else, who I do not know, happy. With a little note of appreciation.

I just wanted to pass on the loveliness of Dignify. I just love their blankets. xo.
This is not a sponsored post. I am just sharing products that I love. Everything is 100% my opinion.
