The Weekly

Hello everybody! I realize that this weekly post is turning into a biweekly post. Oops. How are you all doing?

This past week Bug and I escaped to the prairies. It was a much needed break from the city. Visiting with friends and giving Grandma her cuddles, we left the south feeling a lot more relaxed and ready for life again. We spent the better part of the week doing crafts, writing, reading, realizing, sleeping, and going for walks. The neighbours have a rooster so it was so very interesting to hear him crow every minute. It was a lovely weekend and I am so thankful that I was able to go. Thank you, mom.

In Other News:
-I have a wonderful GIVEAWAY planned for later this week, so keep your eyeballs out for that. It is a wonderful treasure and I cannot wait to find out where its new home will be.
-I am participating in NaNoWriMo this year! Woo! If you are a writer, feel free to add me as a friend! Valuable Sparrow is my profile. Time to get the books that have been stuck in my head, out and on paper.
-I have also joined the Maiedae Book Club which is wonderful. I am a little behind in my reading, but I love the book. It is much needed, and if you want to join, I highly recommend clicking on the link.

Snapshots of the Week: 1. // Homemade honey from my hometown! So delicious and so needed for my current cold. 2. // A beautiful rock necklace that my friend has created! She is making so many beautiful things, I cannot wait until she gets her store up and running! 3. // Look at these beautiful crayons! They come in a beautiful tin and I want one, even though I already have a ton of them. Maybe I am a collector of pencil crayons? 4. // A frosty view from my car window as we left the prairies. Cold, but stunning. 5. // Pooh bear larger than Bug was her friend during the week. And Rabbit too, but I forgot to take a picture of him.

I hope you guys have enjoyed your weekend and are getting ready for the week ahead. We have snow covered ground here, so we are doing a lot of cuddling, playing, reading books, and drinking coffee to stay warm. Many blessings. xo
