The Weekly

Hello there,

It has been a while since I have been on this computer. I have had the busiest week & a bit and needed to take time away from blogging. From overlapping schedules, Bible Study, homework, date night, crafts due on certain dates, swimming lessons, hanging out with friends - we were extremely busy. And then Bug got sick with a very bad cold. Fevers, coughs, and a very runny nose. Waking up every half hour because she couldn't breathe through her nose. I needed to take a step back from typing and focus on my family. Focus on myself and just get through the days.

But now I am back. Hopefully, to stay.

I am loving life now that it is busier, but trust me, it is hard. Says the homebody. I have very good girlfriends here and I am enjoying getting to know them better. Seeing Bug play with their children. Or tackling them. haha. Either one brings a smile to my face. I am definitely finding out that it is all about balance. Balancing everything & everyone - figuring out where to fit in date night, how to hang out with friends, how to get homework done in time. Life is busy. And today, a day so slow that I wandered around the house wondering what to do, I really appreciate the busy life.

This week we have swimming lessons and friend dates planned. I have craft projects to finish up before Thanksgiving. I also have a list of books that need to be read soon. I keep borrowing books from people and my pile beside my bed keeps getting bigger and bigger.

Snapshots of the Week: 1. // Playing with pretty leaves on a date night. 2. // Starting a new crocheting project - crocheting is so much easier to do with a crawler. 3. // Making eyeballs out of yarn. 4. // More leaves - sensing a theme? This is the perfect season for leaves & crocheting!

Favourite Articles/Pins/Posts:
- One day I will be making these for Bug.
- MMM this recipe looks so good & I do have a lot of apples ...
- The prettiest manicure I ever did see.

To Do List:
- Start eating better.
- Drink more water.
- Go to the Corn Maze.
- Finish a book.
- Finish crocheting project.
- Take more photos.

Inspring Me This Week:
My very creative friends all have crocheting projects that they are working on at the moment. I love seeing what they are doing or coming up with. For example, a wonderful friend was crocheting while we were playing a rather nerdy role playing game last night. You know who you are. I was very inspired and felt rather silly just sitting and playing the game. I will have to crochet next Sunday! :)

3 Things About Bug:
- Last week in swimming lessons, Bug's head was immersed in water several times. She likes it. I think.
- Bug loves reading books. And playing with Teddy Bears. And eating Cheerios. Those three things are pretty much what each day is made of.
- She also enjoys climbing on things. Chairs, couches, other babies. haha. Whatever helps her stand - its all the same to her.

Question of the Week:
How do you balance your week? ANY tips would be appreciated. :)
