The Weekly

Happy Monday, everyone! How was your weekend?

I had a busy, family filled weekend and it was fabulous! I love our family so much. To start I got to spend some quality time with my daddy. He came up and it was great. We daydreamed about living off the grid. It's going to happen, dad. It's going to happen. :) Then we got a surprise visit from Bug's Grandma who came for an hour - Bug had big smiles for her. We had coffee with Bug's great grandparent whom we haven't seen since Father's day EEP! It was great catching up with them. Then for supper last night, we went over to Bug's other grandparents (Hubs dad), visited, played, and attempted to watch Frozen while the boys played Clash of Clans. Geez. They are noisy.

I didn't get a lot of crafting done this past week like I wanted to. But that is okay. Instead we spent a lot of quality time with family & friends. I would pick them any day of the week. I am hoping this week will be a bit more productive. haha ... we will see.

Bug is starting swimming lessons on tuesday!! I am so excited! She loved when we went swimming a while ago and since that day, she has LOVED her baths. She actually cries if I take her out too soon. She tries to grab at the tap when I unplug the bath - like she is panicking over the fact that the water is about to go away. haha. So we are super excited. The only sad thing is (SPOILER ALERT) I only have two hands - I cannot hold her AND take pictures of this exciting time. sigh.

Did you see The Maker Series I posted a few days ago? Share with your friends and lets create something beautiful here!

Snapshots of the Week: 1. // My dad was able to bring to us my hope chest from storage. It is now holding all of Bug's blankets. So cute. 2. // I have some pinwheels in my garden and it makes me giggle whenever Bug gets a pinwheel for her garden. We're the same!

Favourite Articles/Posts/Pins:
1. This date idea collection makes me swoon. Must do all of these!
2. I love flower crowns - this workshop looked like so much fun.
3. I love anything to do with yarn, so I was so excited to see this going down at A Beautiful Mess.

To Do List:
1. To not cry (because she is growing up way too fast) when Bug has her first swimming lesson.
2. Finish freezing all them apples.
3. Crochet, crochet, crochet.
4. Take more Instagram photos - seriously.
5. Write letters to my Oma & Grandpa - with pictures of Bug.
6. Print off pictures of Bug.
7. Find a DIY to do this week.
8. Pick up my ukulele.
9. Workout. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
10. Plan a date with the Hubby - I am thinking Corn Maze on Thursday!!

Inspiring Me This Week:
Leaves. Yes. The colour of all the leaves are making me HAPPY! I am going to go for a walk today to get outside, enjoy the (possible) last of the warm weather, find some rocks & leaves for crafts. Maybe get a pumpkin spice latte from Starbucks. Breathe in the air. Soak in the sun. Write my heart out.

3 Things About Me:
1. I have actually started getting into Dragon's Den - so interesting to see what people create.
2. I really enjoy spicy foods, however, Buffalo spice is something that I cannot get into.
3. To live off Grid is actually a big dream of mine.

Question of the Week:
What exciting things do you have planned for this week?
