DIY Keyboard Decals

Sometimes, usually most of the time, a girl has got to make something "boring" sparkly. Or pretty. Now, for those Apple fans (and I do mean Apple computers and not a extreme consumer of apples the fruit) who are hardcore about keeping things pure - ahem *cough cough* my husband *cough cough* then this is your declaimer. Do not read further. I don't need any comments on this post about the torture I am putting my computer through. Ha. Ha.

For those who are girly like me and who love the idea of making something pretty - READ ON.

I was reading through Pinterest (again) and found this lovely post about the many ways to use tape! I loved number 3 and thought to try it myself.
The pretties.
I made the mistake of cutting the edges of the tape not straight! AH! Fixable with a small pair of scissors or an paper knife (BE CAREFUL OF YOUR COMPUTER - I may not be a purest but I do cringe at the sight of scratches)
Aint she pretty? I think so. And it was so easy.
I do want to buy these & these and this and this and this and definitely this! In the meantime, I am quite pleased with how the tape turned out. xoxo

  1. That's a fun project. It makes the keyboard look a whole lot more interesting to work with. I keep a few stickers on mine but I have never really paid much attention to dressing up the buttons as you have done here. It is a good idea and will probably help to protect the keys a bit as well while I type.

    1. Thank you so much! I am really glad that you enjoyed this project. I never even thought about the protection of the keys! That is awesome.
