My Thankful List

Every year on New Years Eve I like to think of all the things that I am thankful for. This year has been filled with learning and growing experiences. I started the year with two jobs, found out I was moving out of country and discovered that I was blessed with a little peanut growing inside of me. The year continued with staying with my parents for a month, discovering the peanut was a lady and traveling to the Middle East all by myself. I spent a few months in Oman learning about the culture and discovering strengths I never knew I had, I had the challenge of getting back to Canada, my husband got a new car and a new job within two weeks of us arriving back home. We had the joy of becoming parents and meeting our precious little princess, celebrated Christmas with family, found a new home, moved, and celebrated the New Years with friends. This has been an amazing year. I am so blessed. I am so thankful. I know that I am late in posting my Thankful List, but here it is anyways. It is never too late to be thankful and to realize all the blessings, joys, and loves in ones life. Even the trials are something to be thankful for. It makes us who we are, it builds our characters and even though in the moment it seems far from something to be thankful for, on New Years Eve, I can look back at those trials with a smile. I conquered them, I grew from them and now I am here, smiling.
