NaNoWriMo & Blog Update

I just wanted to let you all know that I am partaking in the wonderful adventure of NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month = November). I am both scared and excited of the challenge and I will be thrilled with whatever the outcome. I am choosing to go in with goals that I can accomplish, and if I pass the 50,000 words, I will be ecstatic and very surprised. I am more excited because I hope this crazy journey will help me to get back into writing every day. I have been putting it off since I moved out of the country. With Lovebug on her way, now is the time to get my goals in order and to regain my (almost) natural routine.

If any of you are choosing to partake with me in NaNoWriMo, here is a link to my profile. Add me as a friend and we can be writer buddies. For those who think they should participate, but are scared, I am scared too. Do it. Why not? Now is the time. For those who don’t wish to be a part of this at all, encouragement would be greatly appreciated.

I am still not sure what story I will be focusing on during November, but it will come to me. Probably on the eve of October 31st.

I am also setting up a schedule for myself for my blog so that it will not falter as I write my heart out on my stories. So stay tuned for more of my every day life here on the blog. I have more pictures to add and I really hope that none of you are exhausted with the amount of photos I have been adding. It is so hard to know when to stop and when to just keep them coming. A couple of posts to keep your eye out for are: First Moments in Oman, What I Am Missing (from home), Lovebug Update (November 5th is our next doctors appointment. Really hoping to get another ultrasound!), and the pictures from Hubby’s and my Nizwa (a village outside of Muscat) adventures.

I also wanted to mention that I do read the comments on my posts and try to respond to everyone, so you can definitely leave me a comment if you so choose. I would love to hear from you.

As well as I have added more knitting pictures to my artistry of yarn section on my blog. Feel free to check them out. Not all of my pictures are there as most of them are on the Hub’s hard drive. Slowly they will come.
